What RoutexAPI is
RoutexAPI is an API marketplace and gateway. Developers discover and subscribe to APIs with one account, one key, and one bill. Publishers list their APIs, define plans and quotas, and get paid — without writing billing or gateway code.
Why we built it
Existing API marketplaces are slow, weak on mobile, and frustrating to use. RoutexAPI is responsive and mobile-first from 320px phones to wide desktops, fast, and complete on both the buyer and seller sides.
How it works
The gateway authenticates each request, checks the subscription, enforces plan limits and quotas, injects the publisher's upstream secret (never exposed), proxies the call, and records analytics.
Self-hostable
RoutexAPI is self-hostable, so you can run the entire marketplace and gateway on your own infrastructure with full control over your data.
